About the Program

Each year, Dude Ranch is an opportunity for campers (ages 11-16) to experience something completely out of their ordinary day-to-day life. This year, that remains the same. Dude Ranch Virtual will continue to connect campers with each other while they learn about horses, living on a ranch, caring for animals, and horsemanship. Campers will enjoy an interactive program with outdoor activities and Zoom calls to engage with friends. All necessary program supplies will be provided to campers in a care package!

A special thank you to the Helen Brach Foundation for helping to support the

2021 Dude Ranch Virtual Program.

Program Dates: September 24 – 26, 2021

Applications are closed for 2021: See you next year!

What to Expect

Check out an iPad

We want to be sure each camper and volunteer has what they need to participate in our virtual programs. Camp One Step launched a technology initiative where campers can check out iPads for the duration of a Camp One Step program. We encourage you to test your device with Zoom prior to the program. Please note, Chromebooks are not always compatible with Zoom’s breakout room feature, which our program will utilize. When we ship you the device, we will include a return label to make it an easy process! If you would like to borrow an iPad or are in need of any other technical support, please contact Darryl at [email protected]

If you have questions, please contact Devin Ryan, Programs Manager: [email protected], or Andrea Mayoral, Programs Coordinator: [email protected].
