How did you get involved with Camp One Step?

While volunteering with the Masonic Association of Service and Therapy Dogs (MAST) I was introduced to Donna and the Seabees.

How long have you been involved with the organization?

I have done 2 summers with the bees and it was 3 years ago when I was able to meet them at Dave and Busters :)

What volunteer roles have you held?

I’ve been a camp counselor at Summer camp for the Seabees and will now be the Program Director for Seabees.

What keeps you coming back to Camp One Step?

I look forward to every Seabees event and they are always filled with so much joy.

What do you love the most about the program you lead?

I truly enjoy the ability to be able to help facilitate independence and joy for our Seabees. Being able to see them thrive leading various activities at camp as well just enjoying life at our other events is truly a blessing for me. As an occupational therapist I have had the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and a variety of diagnosis with my cancer patients always being the ones that remind me how precious life is.

What are some of your interests outside of camp?

In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my friends, my dog, reading, and Disney runs.
