Philanthropy Council
The Philanthropy Council is a group of committed ambassadors who leverage their relationships, influence, and expertise to advance the organization’s fundraising goals. Council members play a vital role in expanding our donor community, strengthening stewardship efforts, and increasing philanthropic support to sustain and grow our mission. The Council is designed for individuals who demonstrate leadership potential and a desire for deeper engagement, offering an opportunity to prepare for future board and governance roles.
Jason Bryan
Jason Bryan is a Senior Vice President at HUB International with 13+ years of experience in the insurance consulting space. Outside of work, Jason likes to stay active playing golf, exercising, and spending time with his two young boys (Derek & Trey) and wife (Brie). Jason is passionate about Camp One Step, an organization close to his heart, given his family's personal experience with cancer. He is committed to extending his time, resources, and network to help spread the word about Camp One Step and continue making a meaningful impact in the lives of children battling cancer.
Melinda Fuller
Combining passion with purpose, as a corporate attorney, competitive baker (watch her on the Food Network Halloween Cookie Challenge!), and avid runner (Abbott World Marathon Major Six Star Finisher), Melinda leverages her hobbies to spread awareness and raise funds for Camp One Step. Melinda’s connection to Camp began with her college roommate, was transformed when she joined Team One Step in 2019, and has since evolved into a family mission. As volunteers, she and her husband, Joe, get to experience the magic of Camp firsthand: joy, strength, resilience, hope, and seemingly unlimited s’mores. Her two soccer-loving boys, Landon and Dalton, host birthday fundraisers to support the organization and are counting down the years until they are eligible to become counselors. Melinda is dedicated to making Camp One Step a household name, ensuring these programs are accessible to every family that could benefit from them.
Joseph Rosario
Joseph Rosario is the Co-Founder of Shoreline Financial Partners and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with more than 16 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s most important financial decisions. Before co-founding Shoreline Financial Partners, he spent nearly a decade at Fidelity Investments, where he advised high-net-worth families throughout the Chicago area and helped oversee more than $1 billion in client assets.
Born and raised in the Chicago area, Joseph remains deeply connected to the community he serves. He is actively involved with Camp One Step, serving on the Philanthropy Council to support children and families facing serious illnesses. Outside of the office, Joseph enjoys traveling to Puerto Rico to spend time with his father and extended family, golfing whenever possible, and enjoying time outdoors with friends and family. Most importantly, he is the proud father of two boys, William and Liam, who continue to inspire and motivate him every day.
Matt Lawton
Matt Lawton is a Vice President at Shore Capital Partners, focused on supporting management teams in scaling businesses and executing strategic growth initiatives. He lives in Lincoln Park with his wife and twin daughters and has been part of the Camp One Step family for over five years, including prior service on the Young Professionals Council before joining the Philanthropy Committee.
